The film is a continuation of the previously completed manga and The Last –Naruto the Movie–, which tells the story of Boruto. Boruto Hyūga is the child of Hinata and Uzumaki Naruto and first appeared in the last chapter of the manga. “I wanted to write a story that featured Boruto and Sarada, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura. Sasuke and Sakura will also show up,” Kishimoto noted. He also mentioned Boruto’s special technique.
