Darby Thorne (Havana Rose Liu) is not having the best of times, and she escapes from mandatory rehab – by stealing a car – to rush to her mother, who is suffering from a brain aneurysm. However, even nature turns against him during his journey, in the form of a huge snowstorm, which forces him to stop. He hides in a small motel, where there are five other people besides him, but the situation can turn even worse when, looking for space in the parking lot, he comes across something completely different: a bound child in the back of a van.
