Loretta Sage always wrote about exotic places in her popular adventure novels, the cover of which features a handsome cover model, Alan, portraying a hero named Dash, who has staked his life on this character. While promoting her new book, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who hopes to lead her to the treasure of the lost city in his book. Alan wants to prove that he can be a hero in real life, not just in the books, so he sets out to save the woman. The odd couple must work together to find the ancient treasure before it is lost forever.
