Mei Lee, a self-confident 13-year-old girl, tries to be her mom’s dutiful daughter while dealing with teenage issues. To protect her, her mother Ming is always around her daughter, which is an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And if the changes in her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, every time she gets too excited (almost always), she transforms into a giant red panda.
